We are looking for a Head of Talent who can work closely with the three founders to instil best practices in HR process, support the careers of our wonderful team and help onboard our new joiners smoothly.

The key elements of the role are:

We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic HR Professional who is able to play a key part in leading and delivering people initiatives to support the business strategy, to ensure the foundations of good people management are embedded within the company as well as leading the business through change.

The successful candidate will be action-oriented and credible. They will have the ability to develop a longer term people plan yet drive execution tactically and manage the balance between the two.

We need help to build a world-class, self-sustaining, high-performance culture that supports the business at scale and meet its business targets for 50 until 200 employees (and hopefully beyond) in our different locations.



Some specific tasks:

Hiring & Onboarding:

  • Recruit and work with a tactical internal recruiter to identify talent for our new positions pipeline

  • Being heavily involved in how we assess candidates at each stage of recruitment and communicate both internally and externally

  • Establishing a stronger 3-month new joiner onboarding experience and take ownership of continually improving this

  • Most hiring into engineering, although we will also be adding to marketing, support, sales and internal functions like finance

 

Organisational Design & Development:

  • Defining our future organisational structure and plan on when to fill roles with senior management

  • Build out an internal programme for upskilling our employees and helping them establish greater career progression within ScreenCloud

  • Improving our existing 1-2-1, 6 month review and salary review processes

 

Business Partnering:

  • Work with the senior team codify our HR process so it is consistent regardless of location, line manager or department

  • Coach senior management on how to drive the effectiveness of their organisation and their teams while delivering commercial performance

  • Helping us with the hard stuff - moving people on when required, bringing in experience above those who have been here from the start, resolving any internal conflicts

 

Employee Experience / EVP:

  • Reviewing and building up a stronger employee benefits scheme for all locations

  • Taking ownership of the company annual offsite

  • Helping to build our employer brand a company of choice to work at

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience of working as a senior HR Advisor at leadership level

  • At least eight years of experience in HR in a fast-moving environment

  • Understands the commercial drivers and pressures that dictate the pace and decision-making process

  • Proven track record of understanding key drivers in a business area and working in partnership with leaders to measurably improve people management practices

  • Personally resilient and skilled at working in challenging and changing environments

  • High emotional intelligence with good self-awareness

  • Is collaborative and able to adapt own approach and style to the situation

  • Demonstrates an agile approach and an ability to change direction with minimum disruption to others

  • Personable with a preference for developing strong working relationships

  • Demonstrates high personal energy and is comfortable working at pace

  • Driven by a strong desire to do the right thing for the business and the people

  • Is self-disciplined and takes pride in managing self to deliver agreed objectives

  • A confident and inquisitive communicator who actively listens and questions
    Demonstrates influence with humility – is able to provide advice and guidance without being a ‘knower’

  • Customer-focused; someone who thinks deeply to understand business issues and then who acts decisively

  • Positive, execution-focused and committed to delivering on time and at pace
